DEVOPS ENGINEER* AUTOMOTIVE

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

The position as DevOps Engineer at Concentrio offers you the opportunity to define and implement a CI/CD environment, bring in your ideas, apply cutting edge technologies and take over the process responsibility.
Your main tasks include:

• Setting up new infrastructure and development tools
• Analyzing the developers needs and improving our CI/CD environment
• Reviewing currently used technologies and implementation of new solutions to adopt to the cutting edge technologies
• Concept designing and implementing scalable continuous integration, continuous testing and continuous delivery solutions based on the needs / requirements of stakeholders
• Identifying technical problems and developing of solutions
• Sharing of your knowledge and DevOps culture understanding within the distributed developer teams
• Clarifying infrastructure needs together with IT department

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
• Programming skills in Java and Python and Familiarity with the infrastructure as a code best practice using tools like Docker, Ansible etc. Knowledge of Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence
• Experience in the DevOps culture, extensive experience with CI systems like Jenkins, Git, Linux as a development platform
• Experience in the operation of frontend and backend systems, with setup of logging and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.)
• Experience with cloud solutions and an open source background are a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• High level of English is mandatory, German is an advantage
• Self-managed and motivated
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start up environment
• Commitment, team work, flexibility and customer orientation are some of the fundamental soft skills
